Isabel Anderton

Director

Originally from an archaeology background, Isabel Anderton has directed three acclaimed short films to date, two which were funded through the UK Film Council. YOUNG OFFENDER won the ITV Short Film Award at Encounters and has screened internationally at numerous festivals including Slamdance where it was nominated for Best Narrative Short. PLONGEUR was one of the finalists in the Soho House Short Film Competition.

 

In addition, Isabel is an alumni of the Berlinale Talent Campus and has been mentored by BAFTA and Emmy winning screenwriter Abi Morgan (The Invisible Woman, The Hour (series), The Iron Lady, Shame) as part of one of the UK’s most prestigious talent programs: Guiding Lights.

 

Katie Boyles

Writer

As a writer, Katie has had short films shown at; The London Short Film Festival, Portobello Film Festival and Cine Globe Geneva. She was runner-up in The Sitcom Trials 2012 with ‘Whitecoats’ and has had two comedy short film commissions ‘BFF’ and ‘Bump’ for Mofilm 2014. Katie is currently developing her feature film ‘The Good Shit’ and her short film ‘Augustina’ has just been selected for funding by Film London – London Calling 2014.

 

After gaining a degree from Exeter University in English Literature and Fine Art 2:1 (specialising in Film Studies) Katie started a career in television production on dramas ‘Relic Hunter’ and ‘Born and Bred’ (BBC) before working as a reader for Talkback Thames and in research, storylining and script editing roles on nationally broadcast shows ‘The Bill’ (ITV) and ‘Family Affairs’ (CH5). Katie has been a script reader for BBC Continuing Drama and BBC Writer’s Academy and a consultant for The Wellcome Trust Screenwriting Prize 2012 and The Wellcome Trust Screenwriting Fellowship 2013 in association with Film4 and the BFI. She was the script editor on ‘Woodhouse’, a short which won the Film London Best of Borough’s Jury Award 2013. Katie currently provides regular script development support for BBC Drama Series, BAFTA Rocliffe, ITV, Film4 and a number of solicited writer clients.

Nuala o'leary

producer

A 2010 graduate of the NFTS Producing Course Nuala joined Embargo Films later that year.

 

While at Embargo Nuala has worked on I, ANNA starring Charlotte Rampling and Gabriel Byrne, PUSHER starring Richard Coyle and Agyness Deyn and the UK number one box office hit, THE SWEENEY starring Ray Winstone, Ben Drew and directed by Nick Love.

 

Nuala has spent three years as an associate producer at Embargo, offering support to the two principle producers in the daily running of the company, setting up of projects and taking an immediate role on all of Embargo’s productions.

 

In early 2013, Nuala produced her first full-length feature film PANIC starring David Gyasi and Pippa Nixon. The film is currently in the final stages of post-production.

 

Augustina will be Nuala’s ninth short film and second Film London collaboration.
